PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Serve as a value-add business partner and internal consultant supporting assigned locations. This position will include strategic support and required administrative duties associated with benefits administration, compensation, recruitment, employee relations, leave administration, talent development, and HR systems. Willing to consider a remote hybrid working schedule to include a defined travel schedule to onsite facilities in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and support employee benefit programs.

  • Serve as a mentor/coach to other team members working as an advocate to support their growth in the field of HR.

  • Understand and apply the financial levers of the business to assess HR opportunities and cost implications.

  • Identify and apply key performance indicators to measure success.

  • Support the annual engagement survey, data analysis and action plans for assigned departments.

  • Provide advice and input on complex employee issues.

  • Support the recruiting process as needed including sourcing, interviewing, job offer process and advising Managers on candidate selection.

  • Ensure compliance across company policies and procedures.

  • Build strong relationships with HR peers, employees and Leaders across the organization.

  • Partner with Leaders to execute talent development strategies, action plans and succession planning.

  • Identify current and forecasted talent needs based on business objectives and strategy.

  • Provide ongoing and advanced Leadership coaching and development.

  • Function as an advanced subject matter expert for HR systems.

  • Analyze compensation data and trends specific to market value and equity. Lead compensation planning activities for assigned customers.

  • Guide the performance management process for both Leaders and employees.

  • Facilitate feedback to key stakeholders; working closely with appropriate parties to ensure timely production of appropriate documentation and sign off.

  • Provide expertise in strategy development and execution, planning, and facilitation of employee relations and engagement initiatives.

  • Consult on organizational design and partner with Leaders to manage organizational changes.

  • Work with a high level of confidentiality and discretion in dealing with sensitive employee or organizational information.

  • Manage other duties or projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Human Resources or business-related subject qualification.

  • Minimum eight years Human Resources generalist or business partner experience required.

  • CIPD qualified minimum level 5

  • Knowledge and application of UK and/or Irish employment law.

  • Experience with the use of HRIS systems.

OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong initiative, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires an extremely perceptive person (organizational and situational awareness), who can relate to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, candidate/employee goodwill, and the public image.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to move within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard, and perform general office functions.

  • Ability to communicate by speech and hearing via phone and in person.

  • Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.

  • General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.

  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization, enlisting the needed cooperation for successful implementation of programs and other measures needed to meet performance standards.
