IDEX HR Generalist in Mansfield, Ohio

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete the payroll processes for employees, to include reviewing data in Dimensions, correcting errors and preparing payroll items for IDEX.

  • Provide timely customer service in response to questions from employees.

  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality with human resources records, including employee and organizational data.

  • Manage the bid job process for hourly production jobs.

  • Support FMLA, disability, and other Leave of Absence (LOA) administration.

  • Support the talent acquisition process including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate selection and the onboarding process for full time, contract or intern employment.

  • Coordinate and/or facilitate training as needed.

  • Serve as liaison between the organization and external vendors. Process timely requests for payment from vendors.

  • Support the annual performance management and merit increase process.

  • Assess annual employee engagement survey data and facilitate engagement action plans.

  • Function as the lead on assigned Human Resources related project work.

  • Assign and monitor completion of employee training.

  • Identify process improvements and lead change to increase efficiencies.

  • Create timely and accurate routine reports for internal and external customers.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, communication or management.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.

  • Proficient with, or the ability to quickly learn, Dimensions payroll system and Workday HRIS system.

WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to move within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard, and perform general office functions.

  • Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.

  • General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.
