The HR Director is a key business partner for senior leaders, with passion for delivering a measurable business impact. They will plan, direct, and implement the HR strategy, key priorities, guidelines, and procedures to support the core functions of the business. They will partner closely with the broader global HR organization across IDEX. Key leadership competencies for the role will be the ability to connect, engage, and relate to people at all levels of the organization and manage strategic and tactical deliverables. They will demonstrate a bias for action.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Driving inclusive culture with high engagement

  • Partner with President and SLT to develop and execute organizational strategy in support of business strategy

  • Facilitate Organizational Talent Process

  • Attract and develop talent

  • Process/Policy Development and Execution of Change Management

  • HR Administration & Compliance

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to partner with senior leadership to align the HR strategy and priorities to the strategic direction of the business.

  • Serve as a trusted business partner and advisor to leaders while providing insight on employee relation issues and how to drive positive change in the business.

  • Lead and influence the HR function for the organization, including talent acquisition, employee relations and retention, compensation, benefits and rewards, culture development, workforce planning, change management, diversity and inclusion, compliance, organizational development and training, and HR information systems and analytics.

  • Key Partner to functional leadership to develop culture and drive employee engagement by optimizing our employee engagement participation and feedback systems.

  • Champion internal communications, employee engagement, and employee surveys to ensure we are one of the best places to work.

  • In tandem with the FMD President, drive our diversity, equity and inclusion strategy including recruiting and developing diverse talent or building relationships with minority focused search firms, reviewing internal practices and policies to ensure equity and improvement of DEI Focus areas

  • Coach and consult with senior leaders on HR-related issues, while remaining fair as an employee advocate.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's degree HR or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred

  • 7+ Years of experience in Human Resources.

  • Proven partnership with the Senior Leadership of a business to drive organizational strategy and talent development

  • Strong business acumen and change management skills with the capability to create, influence and implement change at all levels of the organization

  • Strong track-record of developing and/or executing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives

  • Strong Knowledge of core Federal and State laws pertaining to employee/labor relations

  • Excellent Verbal & Written Communication, Strong Organizational Skills, as well as, high proficiency In Business/HR systems.

  • Ability and experience working in a Fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

  • Experience with HR program development to attract, reward and retain employees

  • Excellent Team Player and Interpersonal Skills

  • Highly skilled in dealing with ambiguity, clear judgment and decision-making, and complex problem-solving.

  • The ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization.

  • The ability to think strategically and act tactically.

  • The ability to influence various stakeholders across the enterprise

  • Approximately 10% Travel
