Job Summary :

Under the close supervision of the HR Manager, Pulsafeeder SPO, this position will provide HR generalist support that includes recruitment, employee on-boarding, payroll administration, employee and relations, safety, compliance, disability and worker’s compensation leave management. As assigned, incumbent will support HR initiatives supporting employee attraction, development, engagement and retention. Incumbent will provide daily HR generalist support to the Operations teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR generalist and administration support, as assigned.

  • First line of contact for employee Workday and Kronos inquiries and issue resolution

  • Conduct full recruitment cycle for non-exempt and select professional positions, as assigned. Partner with Corporate recruiting, as applicable and support on-site interview scheduling, candidate travel, etc. Support execution of talent acquisition plan.

  • Support new employee onboarding lifecycle. Assist with development and implementation of enhanced orientation and training program for new employees.

  • Assist with annual Performance Management, Talent Review and Salary Planning processes, as assigned.

  • Maintain employee data in HRIS ensuring data integrity. Process workflows, data changes/updates and job requisition with accuracy and on a timely basis.

  • Maintain employee files in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements

  • Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment, and assist employees with benefits issue resolution.

  • Maintain required regulatory reporting; AAP, EEO, VETS, OSHA, etc. Prepare and audit reports including headcount, turnover, diversity and other key metrics, as required.

  • Coordinate VOE (Voice of Employee)/I-Say process. Support Manager HR in the data analysis and tracking of metrics and process improvement projects.

  • Partner with Operations leadership and HR Manager to develop safety programs and training.

  • Process all worker’s compensation, disability and unemployment claims and support any related investigations, questions or activities.

  • Complete assigned payroll processes bi-weekly. Work with corporate payroll and finance to resolve employee pay issues.

  • Human Resource Coordinator handles other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Human Resources or related discipline preferred

  • 1-3 HR related experience required

  • Working knowledge of employment laws and statutes including EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc. preferred

  • Previous recruiting experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools desired. Experience with applicant tracking system desired

  • Experience with payroll software and/or HRIS systems preferred (e.g, Kronos, Workday)

  • Previous experience with HR reporting, compliance reporting, etc. preferred

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook)

  • Analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work

  • Customer Service orientation

  • Ability to think quickly and articulate/escalate issues, as needed

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment

  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills

  • PHR certification a plus

  • Authorization to work in the US on an on-going basis required.
